MORE THAN A SUM OF ITS PARTS
“DON’T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER”
No matter how many times this has been said, this is a side of human nature that cannot be helped.
Thus, it was key that the idea of “more than a sum of its parts” was implemented throughout the design of the book. In every cut, stitch and bind.
This resulted in a die-cut cover design that was significant in showcasing that both the inside and outside of the book needed to come together to form a whole that is worth more than its individual parts.
